*Not a five star hotel, just my experience* Had a great time, the owner/manager gave us two keys and said bring back the one you don't want, so we had some choice as to the floorplan we desired. He also, came to our room to make.sure we had access to the wifi and make sure we were happy with the room. We were very pleased with the overall experience. The beds were on the former side but bedding was clean and of a high thread count. Was great for a stopover.
Rooms, rate and location were very good. Grounds are immaculate. Accommodated our request for 6 rooms. Found the bed very hard. One issue is the 'funds hold' is not released by the motel. It is left to expire or time out. I understand the need to be sure there was no damages etc but 10 days is what it took the hold on my Visa to lapse.
My wife Linda and I celebrate our anniversary by traveling to golf hotspots enjoy different courses. For two years we have stayed in Arnprior at the Country Squire motel. The rooms are very clean and quaint and comfortable. The staff is respectful and friendly. There are a few more golf courses to experience and will definitely stay at the Country Squire.
A great place to stay if you're passing through Ontario. The rooms are small and aspects are dated, but the beds are comfy enough and the management is very curious and kind - He had suggestions for where we should eat based on our arrival time and made sure we had everything we needed for the night. Again, rooms are small and look a bit 'old fashioned,' but was a pleasant sleep and was great for the price.
We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Clean room, comfy beds, quite hotel in a convenient area. Can walk to stores and restaurants. Friendly family owned. You need to bring your own breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
