Beautiful old building and grounds which are well kept and cleaned. Steep stairs is something to be aware of when booking. Certainly nicer than any motel available.
Kirkman House is a lovely home situated on a treed, quiet street with rare old "bones" that take you back in time. Ellen's hospitality and breakfasts were superb and we felt at home immediately. Our room was spacious, spotless and wonderfully appointed with high ceilings and a nice view. I recommend Kirkman House to anyone seeking a first class B&B experience in a setting you won't soon forget.
